Shipping in WooCommerce
Setting shipping in WooCommerce is quite simple. Most settings are inside WooCommerce → Settings → Shipping.
There are also additional options “hidden” in General options.
Shipping calculations may also use the store’s address depending on this setting:
These settings will influence the WooCommerce order data and the default shipping location.
Next, the shipping cost tax depends on the WooCommerce tax rates.
So, you may add, choose, and customize the shipping methods, costs, and classes using default WooCommerce options, address settings, and tax rates. Of course, it’s possible to use new features with extra plugins (like conditional shipping/payment). I will not focus on this further.
How to prepare shipping labels in WooCommerce?
There are two main ways of generating shipping labels in WooCommerce.
The first method is based on the order export and customizing the data for creating shipping labels.
The second method uses an additional shipping label plugin for WooCommerce. One such plugin is Print Orders and Shipping Labels WooCommerce.
The plugin allows to generate order details and shipping labels directly from the WooCommerce order screen.
