Important information
To use this plugin you must first install and activate the Dropshipping Import Products for WooCommerce PRO plugin (version 2.3.2 or higher).
Import
Go to menu Dropshipping XML → Import.
After installing the FTP Import for Dropshipping XML WooCommerce plugin, the standard screen of Step 1 - File Import - will be split into two columns:
File import from URL
For XML / CSV files accessible from the browser level, to which the path with the http or https protocol leads, the way of operation is the same as in the case of the standard WooCommerce XML Dropshipping plugin.
File import from FTP server
If your supplier stores an XML / CSV file of products on an FTP server, make sure you have received the following access data from them:
- path to the XML / CSV file on the server
- login
- password
- host address (not required if the file path contains a domain address)
To start importing a file from the FTP server, enter the complete address to the file into the field, consisting of the following elements:
- FTP protocol name (ftp: // or ftps: //)
- domain name (e.g. wpdesk.net
- path to the file (e.g. /stock/products.xml)
After entering the path to the file, the fields allowing for entering the access data to the FTP server will be expanded
- FTP login - enter the login to the FTP server received from the file provider (sometimes it may be in the form of [email protected])
- FTP Password - Enter the FTP password obtained from the file provider
Import file from local disk
If you have an XML / CSV file on your local disk containing data about the products you wish to import, use the column on the right side of the screen.
You have two options to select the file to be uploaded:
- drag and drop a file from the local disk to the box
- use the Select File button to launch a file browser which will allow you to select an XML / CSV file from your local drive
After selecting the file, the upload process will start. You can monitor its progress using the bar displayed on the screen.
After the download process has been successfully completed, you will receive the following message:
File downloaded successfully. Please move to the next step by clicking the button below.
Below the download field you will find information about the maximum file size:

This value is configured on the server. If the limit is not sufficient, please contact your hosting provider.
