How the plugin works
The plugin integrates WooCommerce with Allegro, allowing you to manage auctions directly from your store. With the plugin, you can:
- list auctions on Allegro from WooCommerce,
- import auctions/products from Allegro to WooCommerce,
- synchronize prices and stock levels between WooCommerce and Allegro,
- automatically import orders placed on Allegro into WooCommerce,
- automatically end and relist auctions, based on product stock levels in WooCommerce.
Requirements
- The plugin requires at least 256MB of memory for PHP processes due to the large number of Allegro categories. Learn how to change the memory limit for WordPress and PHP scripts.
- We recommend PHP 7 for better performance and avoiding memory limit issues.
- SOAP extension must be installed – most shared server PHP installations include it by default.
- To import auctions from the Allegro panel, WordPress version 5.8 or higher is required.
- Two-factor authentication must be enabled on your Allegro account for the plugin to work correctly.
- A business account is required to list auctions. Personal accounts cannot list auctions.
Getting started
Our plugin is easy to use, but we understand that those new to e-commerce might need a little help.
There are several guides to help you through the plugin setup and show you how to list auctions from WooCommerce.
Configuration in 9 steps
Once the plugin is installed and activated, proceed with the configuration:
- Enter your login details and click Save Changes. If the Connection Status shows OK, proceed to the next step. If not, check the common issues.
The plugin allows you to connect multiple Allegro accounts, so you can manage auctions from different accounts in your store. Learn more here.
- Choose default categories. At least one category is required for the plugin to work. If categories are not showing, check the common issues.
- Map Allegro categories to WooCommerce categories if you want to automatically list products. Skip this step if you prefer to set categories manually.
- Set the required Allegro category attributes. Skip this if you don't need automatic product listings.
- Decide if you want to list auctions only or also import them as WooCommerce orders, and whether you want to register Allegro users in your store.
- Create shipping pricing rules. At least one rule must be created.
- Create a description template for your auctions. Go to description template settings.
- Finally, set up the auction parameters by creating Auction Templates. You can create multiple templates if needed. If you skipped steps 4 and 5, ensure you set the default category and Allegro category fields. The rest are optional and can be filled in as needed.
You're all set – you can now list auctions!
Listing auctions in 3 steps
After completing the setup as described in Configuration in 9 steps, you can bulk list multiple WooCommerce products on Allegro:
- Go to the Products menu and select the products you want to list,
- From the bulk actions dropdown, choose List on Allegro and click Save Changes,
- On the auction listing screen, select a template and the auction start date. Then, click List on Allegro.
If the configuration is correct, the products will be listed and the message The auction has been listed will appear, along with the auction number.
If any auction parameter is incorrect, a Draft will be created and a message from Allegro will appear. Go to the auction draft to correct the parameters.
We recommend reviewing the entire Allegro documentation series.
