Key plugin features
Automatic Payment Status for WooCommerce plugin automatically changes the order status after a successful payment when the order moves to the Processing status. You can use it to automatically mark orders as completed or to set a different status based on selected conditions.
Key plugin features:
- No automatic status change - the plugin does not change order statuses.
- Change the status of every order - every order that receives the Processing status after payment will be automatically changed to Completed.
- Conditional logic - you can create rule groups and specify which status the order should be changed to when it meets the selected conditions.
- Automation conditions - rules can include the payment gateway, product category, product type, and specific product.
- AND / OR conditions - within one group, you can combine conditions that must be met together or add alternative sets of conditions.
- Support for custom WooCommerce statuses - with conditional rules, you can choose the target status from the list of statuses available in your store.

Main settings
You can access the plugin settings by clicking WooCommerce > Order statuses or by directly selecting Settings from the plugin list.
Don't change order
Selecting this option will result in no change to the order status.
Change for every order
Selecting this option will automatically change the order status to completed for each order.
Conditional logic
Selecting this option will allow you to define conditional logic for changing the status of orders.
Adding a new conditional logic
To add a new conditional logic rule, select new group.
Selecting an order status
Once you have added a new group, select what order status you want the group to change to when configuring the group.
Important: the plugin will not work (i.e., it won’t change the order status) for orders with the 'on hold' status — for example, orders paid via methods like 'Bank Transfer' or 'Cash on Delivery'. The plugin will work for orders whose initial status (immediately after placing the order) is 'processing'.
Conditional logic options
You can select from a list of 4 options for which the order status can change.
These are :
- payment gateways,
- product categories,
- product types,
- specific products.
Depending on the option you choose, you can specify whether :
- Is, or is not,
- Is, or is not virtual.
Fulfilment of this condition will enable an automatic change of order status.
New condition - or/and
You can also add another condition. To do this, click and.
If you want another condition to be able to be fulfilled for this group, select or.
New group
When creating a logic, you can also add a new group.
To do so, select new group and specify the conditions that must be met for the automation to work - exactly as in the points above.
You can change their order using the arrows.
