The beginning of the vacation at WP Desk. What was noticeable by the small break in the publication of posts. The author allowed himself a bit of time off while not having a replacement. However, we are back to the normal publishing cycle. In this post I will collect WP Desk news from the past two months. Because despite the holiday period - there was and is a lot going on!
Active Payments with support for WooCommerce blocks
This is one of the most popular plugins we offer, installed in several thousand stores. The latest version of Active Payments for WooCommerce received a very important update - support for WooCommerce checkout blocks. Thus, the plugin supports both old and new WooCommerce checkout.
Flexible Invoices for WooCommerce with manual corrections of invoices and proformas
The beginning of June brought highly anticipated new features to the WooCommerce Invoices plugin. Starting from version 4.6, it is possible to issue manual correction of invoices and proformas. If you are using Flexible Invoices plugin and need a tutorial, the work of Peter (our developer responsible for invoice plugins) was very nicely described by Przemek in a separate blog post on flexibleinvoices.com.
In case of further questions - we are here to help.
New Flexible Coupons website
I'd like to inform you that the Flexible Coupons plugin has grown up enough to leave the nest and have its own store. This means it will now be managed independently, allowing for more focused development and dedicated support. We are excited about this new chapter and believe it will bring even more enhancements and features for our users.
Order Status 2.0
At the end of June we released a huge update to the Order Statuses for WooCommerce plugin. Tomek described these new features in a dedicated article on our blog.
I'll just mention that it's mainly about the ability to use conditional logic in the plugin for order status changes.
Flexible Cookies and support for Google Consent Mode
This is where a cool plugin came in, so I mention it. Our cookie plugin - Flexible Cookies has full support for Google Consent Mode. Google Consent Mode can be enabled with one click.
If you're not already using it, Flexible Cookies is available to download completely free from the WordPress repository.
Flexible Subscription Reccuring Shipping
Our WooCommerce subscription handling plugin is spreading its wings. We have just released the first add-on for Flexible Subscriptions, which allows you to manage recurring shipments of subscription products.
This allows you to realize a scenario where products are shipped to the customer, for example, every week, regardless of the subscription.
For more information, I refer you to the plugin documentation.
[Polish Customers] Important update to the InPost plugin
In the latest version of the InPost plugin, Octolize has added the ability to select a parcel machine from the map in the new block checkout. Store customers can now select a pick-up point from both the list and the map. In addition, for returning customers with their own account, the selected point will be remembered. In subsequent orders, the ordering process will be simplified, and the favorite point will substitute itself automatically.
What more could you want, right?
WordCamp Kraków
As previously announced, from June 7 to 9 you could see most of the WP Desk team in Kraków. As a sponsor of this event, we made our contribution to the development of WordPress in Poland.
If you want to know how it was I recommend the extensive photo gallery from WC Kraków.
It's time to say goodbye. At least for now. For all of you who have vacations ahead of you - have a good rest 🙂.
